Due to its attractive and green location, Montgomery Gardens is perfectly placed for outdoor pursuits, such as picnics, walking, cycling and jogging. Aldershot is home to many playgrounds, parks, recreation grounds and green open spaces – these include Princes Gardens and Aldershot Park. Nature fans might also enjoy nearby Rawhill Nature Reserve – this 55-acre woodland and wetlands site is popular with walkers and joggers.

Sports fans and enthusiasts may be pleased to be made aware of the many local sporting facilities on offer. These include Aldershot Pool and Fitness Centre – a large sporting facility with a swimming pool, fully equipped gym and football pitches, as well as Alderwood Leisure Centre, which is home to a gym, a fitness class studio and several sports pitches. Outdoor swimming can be enjoyed at Aldershot Lido, while Alpine Snow Sports dry ski centre offers skiing and snowboarding sessions at a five minute drive away.

Culture enthusiasts are also well catered for in Aldershot, with two theatres, a military museum and a multiplex cinema. This includes the West End Centre, an arts and entertainment centre with regular exhibitions, and workshops, as well as music and theatre productions, as well as Princes Hall – a 600-seat theatre hosting a programme of comedy, dance and family entertainment.



Commuters will be pleased to know that this contemporary development of new homes in Aldershot, Hampshire offers easy access to major roads, for local travel, as well as convenient connections to London and the south coast. These include the M3, which provides ease of access to Farnborough, Winchester, London and Southampton. Local roads include the A31, leading to Farnham and the A3, which connects to Portsmouth.  Aldershot Railway Station is a mile from the development and runs regular train services to London Waterloo, Guildford, Woking and Clapham Junction among others.
