Pilgrims' Way

Pilgrims' Way is located less than a mile south of Beverley town centre in the stunning East Riding of Yorkshire, an 18-minute drive north of the former City of Culture winner, Hull. The development can be reached within a nine-minute drive of the A1079. Additionally, the A63 is a 30-minute drive away – via the A164 – heading west towards Leeds.

This development will be under the administration of East Riding of Yorkshire Council.

High Eske Nature Reserve – an 18-minute drive away from the development – is a gleaming example of the area’s beauty; running adjacent to the River Hull, this tranquil body of water is home to a range of wildlife, well-kept footpaths, and stunning views.

Pilgrims’ Way is a four-minute walk from an open green space with a local playground, while acres of nearby farmland reiterate rural surrounds. Long Lane is part of the National Cycle Route 1, a perfect connection for any cyclists looking to soak up dramatic views of the east coast in well-preserved bike lanes. Yorkshire Wolds Way, a well-known national trail, begins a 22-minute drive away.

Beverley has plenty to keep young families engaged, including Jump Inc Beverley, Let Loose! Adventure Park, and a multi-screen cinema.

Keldmarsh Primary School is a popular choice for those with young children and is located just seven minutes’ walk from the development. Beverley is home to a number of primary schools, with Beverley St Nicholas Primary School and St John of Beverley RC Primary School a five- and seven-minute drive away, respectively.

For children of secondary school age, the renowned Beverley Grammar School is less than a mile’s walk away and is the oldest state school in England. Beverley High School and Longcroft School and Sixth Form College are also both within half an hour’s commute.

Those pursuing higher education have the University of Hull a 15-minute drive away, while York – 30 miles west – is home to two excellent university options.

Beverley Flemingate bus stop is a 10-minute walk from the development and offers regular services through to Hull, Hessle, and Hornsea.

Beverley train station is less than a mile away, providing Northern services to destinations including York, Bridlington, Scarborough, and Sheffield. Hull train station is a 26-minute drive away, and offers national rail connections with the fastest journey times to London Kings Cross in around two and a half hours.

Humberside Airport is a 34-minute drive away, and Leeds Bradford Airport is 60 miles away.

Everyday essentials are well supplied by a selection of popular supermarkets within a 10-minute drive. Beverley Market is a mile away for bustling independent trade, offering an eclectic mix of fresh food, bespoke products, and handmade goods. Beverley also hosts a number of town-centre stores, most highly concentrated at Flemingate shopping centre and its surrounding streets.
