Located in the historic market town of Stafford, Victoria Place has all the benefits of amenities that both the town centre and the nearby city of Birmingham offer, while maintaining easy access to scenic countryside.

The development can be reached within a two-minute drive of the A34, and a seven-minute drive of the M6. Central Birmingham is around 29 miles away.

This development falls under the administration of Stafford Borough Council and Staffordshire County Council.

It is only a short walk from Victoria Place to the nearest supermarket, as well as several retailers. Further shops are on offer locally via Queens Shopping Park, home to a good selection of well-known retailers and less than half a mile from home.

Stafford town centre is only 1.6 miles away. A popular market town, its main shopping areas boast well-known stores, as well as independent and specialist boutiques, as does its Waterside and Guildhall shopping centres. There is also an indoor market, held four times a week, where traders sell a variety of goods, including fresh, local produce.

For dining out, Stafford is home to a good selection of both independent and chain cafés, coffee shops, pubs and restaurants.

A multitude of dining and shopping opportunities are on hand in Birmingham – around 40 minutes away via car. Popular among UK shoppers, the city boasts several popular shopping streets, arcades and malls, hosting a wide variety of well-known retailers, designer labels and independent boutiques, as well as a variety of places to eat. Nearby Grand Central is a modern shopping and dining venue, with many high-end names, as well as a large department store, and several well-known restaurants. For fine dining and special occasions, Birmingham is home to several Michelin-starred restaurant, while The Cube is home to several fine dining establishments including restaurants offering Brazilian and Japanese cuisines, as well as being home to Marco Pierre White’s Steakhouse – offering panoramic views across Birmingham. The city is also renowned for an area of the city called the ‘Baltic triangle’ - home to several authentic curry houses dedicated to the Birmingham-born dish.

Victoria Place is close to many leisure amenities via both nearby Stafford town centre and the city of Birmingham.

Outdoor pursuits are well-covered. The development includes three play areas, two ponds and several public open spaces, and benefits from ease-of-access to nearby parks, including Victoria Park (just over a mile away) and Wildwood Park – only two miles away. Cannock Chase, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is just under a 20-minute drive from home has plenty of stunning scenery and outdoor space - ideal for leisure pursuits such as walking, jogging and cycling.

For more energetic sports, Stafford, has plenty to offer, including a 9-hole golf course, football clubs, rugby union clubs, and a cricket and hockey club. Stafford Leisure Centre is a 19-minute walk from Victoria Place and includes a swimming pool, squash courts, fitness suites, and a modern gym.

Stafford town centre - eight minutes’ drive from home – is also home to a variety of family-friendly entertainment including a multi-screen cinema, ten-pin bowling alley, art gallery, museums, a theatre and a castle.

Further culture and entertainment is on offer via nearby Birmingham – its many popular attractions include museums, art galleries, theatres, an aquarium and an infamous chocolate factory.

High adrenaline entertainment is also within easy reach, as Victoria place is only a 40-minute car journey from Drayton Manor Theme Park and around 45 minutes from Alton Towers.

For families living at Victoria Place, there are several highly regarded schools within the local area. This includes St. Leonard’s Primary School and St Paul’s C of E Primary School – both within walking distance from the development. Secondary education is covered via Stafford Manor High School and King Edward VI High School - each just over two miles away from home via car.

For independent education, Stafford Grammar School covers ages 3 – 18 and is less than 10 minutes’ drive from Victoria Place.

Further education is offered via Stafford College, around an eight-minute drive from home. For higher education, there are several nearby universities including the University of Wolverhampton, around 40 minutes away via car, and the University of Birmingham, about an hours’ drive from home.

Residents of these new homes in Stafford can benefit from excellent, nearby transport links.

Public transport is covered via frequent, local bus services, while Stafford train station is under a mile away from the development, or a six-minute drive, and provides services to major cities including Birmingham, Manchester and London.

For travel by car, the development can be reached within a two-minute drive of the A34, and a seven-minute drive of the M6. Stafford town centre can be reached in around eight minutes via the A34, while the M6 motorway leads northbound to Stoke, around half-an-hours’ drive, and southbound to Birmingham, within a 40-minute drive.

Birmingham Airport is also around 40 minutes’ drive from home, via the M6.
